From developer Gasket Games and publisher Focus Home Interactive, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is a turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy universe of heavenly knights and drakes where players can lead their own customizable force to war and, of course, to victory. Storm Ground includes both a single-player mode and an online, PvP mode.
In anticipation of the game’s release later this month on May 27, 2021, three trailers have been released, each highlighting one of the three major factions players can choose in the game: The Eternals, Nighthaunts, and Maggotkin, respectively.
The Eternals are tough and sturdy warriors, armed with celestial power and the ability to ride dragons into battle.
Nighthaunts are ghastly horrors of the night wishing to plunge the world into their darkness. Members of the faction use their dark powers to weaken enemies until death, and overwhelming enemies consumes them.
The final faction is the Maggotkin, who want nothing more than to spread their disease-ridden way of life and corruption to their enemies and all across the battlefield.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on May 27, 2021.
The game is currently available for pre order through all storefronts. Those who purchase Storm Ground ahead of release will “receive the “Spoils of War Weapon Pack,” featuring an exclusive weapon for each of the game’s three armies,” according to the developer.
