It seems come next summer, Batman is back in business with some new toys.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 2nd 2015, announced today by its publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment with two special editions of the game available to gamers wishing to take their love for The Dark Knight to another level.
The upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Rocksteady Studios was originally supposed to be released in October, but Rocksteady initially decided to postpone the release to early 2015 in order to give us the most polished version of the game possible.
Special Edition Details
The Limited Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight will come in a Steelbook case alongside an 80-page art book, an issue zero of DC Comics’ Batman: Arkham Knight comic book, three exclusive New 52 character skins, and a 12-inch Batman Memorial statue. This package will be available for $99.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and PC.
The second edition announced is the Batmobile Edition. This particular edition includes everything you get in the Limited Edition except for the 12-inch Batman Memorial Statue, which is replaced with a fully transformable Batmobile Statue. The Batmobile Edition is exclusive to console versions of the game, and will cost you $199.99.
The final announcement made today concerning Batman: Arkham Knight is that with preorders, gamers will receive the playable Harley Quinn add-on. This marks the first time she is playable in an Arkham game, which will be interesting to see all of her personal gadgets. The add-on also includes 4 exclusive challenge maps.
