The raunchy beat-em-up is already out PS3 and Vita (it released on August 12th of this year), but PS4 owners will have to wait for at least a couple of weeks before they can get their fill according to this tweet from XSEED Games on Wednesday.

Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed is actually a sequel to Akiba’s Trip on the PSP that wasn’t released in North America. This game is known as Akiba’s Trip 2 in Japan, but the North American edition gets the provocative subtitle.

Gameplay is revolved around stopping enemies that invade shopping areas in Akihabara by stripping and exposing them to direct sunlight. The beat-em-up also has a lot of customizability for weapons and clothes that can also be found in other various memorable titles like Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, Disgaea, and Hyperdimension Neptunia.

It’s both an interesting and unique concept that’s been praised in reviews, but the actual combat system and the polish of the game has been panned by many.

Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed is published by XSEED Games in North America, by NIS America in Europe, and is developed by Acquire. What are your thoughts on Akiba’s Trip, and will you be picking up the beat-em-up?
