The co-creator of the popular Earthworm Jim series, Doug TenNapel, has opened a Kickstarter for his new adventure game titled Armikrog. The game has a unique approach in that it will revolve around clay and puppet animation. Pencil Test Studios, which was founded by Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield (also from Earthworm Jim), will be making the game.
Armikrog will feature a space adventurer named Tommynaut and a blind, talking dog named Beak-Beak as they crash land on an alien planet and get locked up in a fortress named Armikrog.
An interesting note is that the game will be DRM-free for PC, MAC OSX, and LINUX. This means that gamers will be able to share the game with each other and the modding community will be able to create some awesome content for it.
As of this writing, the team is half-way to its goal of $900,000. So if you support indie developers, why not go to their Kickstarter and check it out!
