Recently, Bandai Namco has announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for a 2016 release. The sequel will be available at retail for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and digitally for PC. Bandai Namco plans to have Xenoverse 2 released in America, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and Australasia territories.
The first Dragon Ball Xenoverse, developed by Dimps, was released in 2015 for multiple platforms and has seen over 2.5 million in sales.
Xenoverse featured a first for Dragon Ball titles; a character creator and a new series spanning campaign. Fans were able to create a fighter from the various races that have appeared throughout the entire anime series. The narrative then follows your hero as he or she travels throughout history to protect the timeline. The sequel is set to provide more content and details than the original.
Currently, the franchise is celebrating its 30 year anniversary and fans can take part in celebration with more Dragon Ball later this year.
