Batman: Return to Arkham has reportedly been leaked by a GameStop employee and an ESRB rating. It is supposed to be an HD remaster of the beloved Arkham games.
The collection, set to release June 10, will include HD remasters for the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, both by Rocksteady Studios. WB Montréal’s Batman: Arkham Origins will not be featured.
The news broke via Eurogamer, who received an email detailing the collection. The news was followed shortly by an ESRB rating for the title in the European regions.
The collection will include all released downloadable content for the two titles, and will boast “updated visuals optimized for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One”. Gamers will reportedly be able to pre-order from 19th April.
The latest release in the Arkham series was Batman: Arkham Knight, which launched June 23, 2015. Featuring a fully-realized Gotham City and a driveable Batmobile, it served as a “conclusion” to the the trilogy. GameSkinny’s review gave the title a ten, calling it “most complete superhero video game experience ever”.
