Copperhead looks to bring the sexy, as the new assassin out for Batman’s bounty.

Warner Bros. Interactive revealed Copperhead as the newest addition to the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC action title during a San Diego Comic-Con panel.

In DC Comics lore, Copperhead is one of the lesser known villains who got his start, yes HIS, as a master contortionist turned assassin. For Batman: Arkham Origins, he is now a she. No doubt a great move on Warner Bros. part to broaden the cast and include some female characters. Copperhead being the only one we know of so far, but definitely more to come.

During the Comic-Con panel, WB Montreal Creative Director, Eric Holmes, described the game as “Year Two” of Batman. As a reference to the Graphic novel Year One, which the game has been continuously compared to.

Other assassins confirmed for Arkham Origins so far include Deathstroke and Deadshot. Batman: Arkham Origins is currently set for an Oct. 25, 2013 release for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
