Battlefield 4 “China Rising” was released on December 3, and takes place in 2020, and goes around a Chinese Admiral  who tries to go all out and against the US government, through air and ground, flanking the army in order to conquer what he looks for.

Given the circumstances shown in the game, the Chinese government sees it as an insult as the game “endangers national security and cultural aggression”; and in order to avoid this vision of the country, they have decided to take some quite strict measurements, and so, they’ve decided to ban not only the “China Rising” DLC of the game, but the game as a whole, including news about the game within their borders.

Electronic Arts has since declined to give any declaration about this matter.
