Having problems loading up a multiplayer match for the Battlefield Hardline beta on PlayStation 4? Others have had the same issue, and EA addressed those problems.
In a support article over at EA Help, they’ve determined that the error, “Matchmaking Failed — Could not find a server to join,” is an issue with their limited server capacity for the beta.
We’ve limited the number of participating players per platform during the Battlefield Hardline beta to balance our need for stress-testing while still trying to give an exciting and engaging in-game experience to as many players possible. We’re actively working to make more room and keep up with demand.
Why are some people experiencing this issue on PS4 and not elsewhere? According to BFHStats, that console is where Battlefield Hardline is played the most. They’ve hit a 24-hour peak of a whopping 132,287 players. That’s over 25,000 more than the Xbox One, and that margin is bigger than the PS3’s 24-hour peak.
EA asks all of those affected to try again after a few moments and they should get in. With how many issues major publishers have had with triple-A launches, let’s hope this issue clears up by launch. Have you been experiencing any issues with matchmaking in Battlefield Hardline?
