Back in 2012, BioWare produced an excellent Mass Effect Trilogy for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
If you missed out, however, you might be interested in this news.
The studio is considering bringing this trio of role-playing greatness to next-generation machines. This according to BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn, who responded to a fan on Twitter. The interested Mass Effect follower wanted to know if the Trilogy would ever come to the PS4 and Xbox One. Flynn’s response:
@shinobi602 @YanickRRoy We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we’ll share. Great to hear you’re keen

BioWare is working on the new Mass Effect, so perhaps this Trilogy would be the perfect lead-in for the new entry. Furthermore, it’s feasible that if they do bring these games to new systems, fans might be able to enjoy a host of improvements and additions. The Trilogy is bound to include most – if not all – the available downloadable content, but BioWare might go a step further for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Yeah, I’m weird; I prefer Dragon Age
I’ve always been more of a fantasy guy than a sci-fy guy. I’ll take the sword ‘n staff setting over the spaceship and laser-gun setting any day of the week and twice on Sunday. That being said, I can easily appreciate the accomplishments of the Mass Effect franchise. You’d have to be blind otherwise.
