Developer Gearbox Software’s co-op shooter Borderlands 2 for the PlayStation Vita is apparently an incredible game if we listen to PlayStation Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes. Boyes made a comment this week on Twitter, saying:
@wilflare @Shinogu I was playing a ton of Borderlands 2 Vita this week. SO GOOD.

That was all the information Boyes would give eager fans on the status of Borderlands 2 on the PS Vita. The game, along with the handheld bundle is supposed to launch this spring. The PS Vita included in the game bundle will include the new slim model.
Interested gamers can grab the Borderlands 2 PS Vita bundle for $200, which comes with a copy of the game, the new slim handheld console, and an 8GB memory card. Borderlands 2 will feature cross-save and all released DLC packs to date.
A couple of studios are collaborating together on this handheld venture, including 2K, Sony, and Iron Galaxy Studios. Iron Galaxy is the indie developer behind Divekick, a fighting game.
Borderlands 2 is already available on consoles and PC, selling over 7.5 million copies to date. Gearbox has done quite well keeping the content coming, with numerous DLC packs and expansions released since its original launch. Fans have been quite happy so far.
I, unfortunately, have never played the game to date. I have been waiting for PS Vita version to be released since it was originally announced. My wait is finally coming to a close as Spring is upon us.
