The newest installment of the Call of Duty has been officially revealed today. Along with it is the announcement of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Multiplayer Beta. As of right now the details about the beta test are scarce, but YouTuber Drift0r claims to have some details on the beta in one of his videos that hasn’t been posted anywhere else. He provides these details on the beta:
The beta will happen across all three platforms, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC
- The beta will last 1-2 weeks
- Will happen 1-2 months before the game launches
- Beta won’t start until after E3
Of course all of these details could be unreliable, but similar to beta durations and timings for other games, this is possible. However, in order to get into the beta there is currently only one option and that is to pre-order the game.
If you are looking to cheat the system to get into the beta without having to spend money on a pre-order that is possible. One example is pre-ordering from a participating online retailer as they don’t charge your account until the game is released. This means the will ship you a beta code when it is available, and you can immediately cancel your pre-order without being charged.
