From the update notes, there are plenty of new features, like:

  • New mini game: “Back Off Barbarian”
  • Uncapped frame rate (FPS)
  • Ultra mode: High quality textures
  • Updates to UI flow
  • Russian language support added
  • General bug fixes and improvements

The new mini game, “Back Off Barbarian”, has replaced the original Steam mini game, “All You Can Quaff”. Additionally, the update improves on textures. The update notes states that the “mode will not be on by default. Players must go to the Game Settings menu and manually toggle it on.”

These new features will certainly give a face-lift and improvement to a game that came out in 2008. Castle Crashers: “Barbarian Makeover” is out now.
