‘Castlevania: Lords of Shadow’ Ultimate Edition Scheduled to Hit PC In August

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

A reboot to the franchise, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow had decent success when it was first released to the public on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. Konami has now announced it will be releasing an Ultimate edition for PC version around August.

This dark fantasy action-adventure follows the sad despairing tail of Gabriel Belmont, whose wife was murdered by an evil known as the Lords of Shadow. Her soul is captured and she is stuck in limbo; neither quite living, nor quite dead. She instead guides Belmont to salvation – a theme very reminiscent of Dante’s Divine Comedy, where the main character’s love interest dies and then guides him through a quest to find paradise and salvation.

The PC edition will contain two add-on chapters, and is coming out on Steam on August 27th, while a physical product  will arrive August 30th.

I'm a 29 year old Jersey girl who loves games. I currently work full time, volunteer part time at this awesome non-profit called Amman Imman, and go to school part time. I also train in jiu jitsu. So time isn't quite on my side (unlike that song says). I have been trying unsuccessfully for years to clone myself so I can devote one of me to boring stuff like working and laundry - thus allowing more time for gaming. I'm willing to offer large sums of imaginary money to any who can make this happen.
