Yeah, if you’re a die-hard Final Fantasy fan, you’ve probably played most of these. If you missed any, though, now’s your chance to play catch-up.
Sony has discounted a ton of Final Fantasy titles on the PlayStation Network this week, as reported by DualShockers. Notable games on sale include Final Fantasy III, IV, V and IX, as well as Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions and the recently released Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Many of those titles are only half price this week, so take advantage! Also, don’t forget that PlayStation Plus members receive their customary 20% discount on top of the sale price. You can grab Final Fantasy XIII-2 for only $9.99 ($8.99 for Plus subscribers) and Final Fantasy Origins for only $5.99 (Plus price is $5.39), for example.
Atlus will be holding a sale next week as well, when you’ll find Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and Persona 3 FES for discounted prices. This is a great time for old-school role-playing fans to stock up. Maybe they’re not big fans of the new role-playing mechanics, or maybe they just want to take a nostalgia trip down memory lane.
Check the Store Routinely
This goes double if you’re a Plus subscriber. If you are, you can check out the Instant Game Collection, which includes totally free games to download. You should definitely sign in to the PSN every week to see if something catches your eye. Chances are, something will.
