This weekend sees one of Europe’s biggest video game expos hit London, UK. Having sold out quicker than ever before, and now expecting 70,000 visitors, this year the expo is taking great lengths to accommodate the increasing amount of cosplayers that attend.
Panels
There will be a dedicated stage for cosplayers, with panels and talks about everything from creating your own prosthetics, advance sewing techniques, prop-making, and make-up tips. There will also be a whole host of award-winning cosplayers attending including:

- Emily Inferni
- Kelly Jean
- Sketch Mc-Draw
- Stacey Rebecca
- Laura Sindall
- Tigerlilly
Prizes
The expo will also be holding their biggest cosplay competition ever on Saturday September 28th, “The Eurogamer Cosplay Championship”. As well as “Best Individual” prizes, there will also be a “Best Group” prize, and even “Best Skit”! Rules for the championships can be found on the Eurogamer website, and entrants must send a complete entry form to [email protected].
There will also be separate competitions held everyday, including a special Nintendo competition held on Sunday 29th September.
Patch-Ups
There will be plenty of other events and features for cosplayers, including a place where you can get a last-minute fix to your costume. There will also be dedicated cosplay stalls, a “Beat the Clock” cosplay event, and a cosplay photo booth.
Eurogamer Expo 2013 will take place in London, UK between September 26th – 29th 2013. Tickets are now sold out.
