Cris Tales, the upcoming JRPG from developer Dreams Uncorporated, has officially been given a release date: it will launch on July 20, 2021. The game has been a relatively long-time coming, having seen two delays, the most recent of which came in February, pushing it out of its “early 2021” launch window.
The announcement was made during the April 14 Nintendo Indie World Showcase. Dreams Uncorporated also shared a new trailer that showed off the game’s hand-drawn environments in which players fight to save the Kingdom of Crystallis, whether it be in the past, present, or future.
Cris Tales is a turn-based JRPG that sets players on an adventure through time as Crisbell, who is voiced by Kira Buckland of NieR: Automata fame.
Fans can pre-order the game now for $39.99, but for those especially keen on the game, there is also a Collector’s Edition available, which will include an art book, a plush of Matias, pins, character stickers, and more. Cris Tales will launch for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more over the coming months.
