Sony’s Pre-TGS conference revealed many new things coming to the PlayStation family, one of which was Deep Down. Deep Down was announced to be a Playstation 4 exclusive, which is interesting considering Capcom is not an affiliate of Sony’s and has released many games on Microsoft’s current gen console, the Xbox 360.
The news doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering the game was revealed at the Sony PS4 announcement conference. The confirmation that the game will only be on the PS4 comes from a tweet made by the producer, Yoshinori Ono.

Deep Down also featured in-engine footage of the game in its newest trailer, which was visually stunning. From what the viewer can see, the game features some impressive effects. Sony is also helping Capcom optimize their new engine, the Pantha Rhei engine, for the PS4. Which could explain why Deep Down is a PS4 exclusive.
