Defiant Development’s latest game, Hand of Fate 2, will release new downloadable content for the PC version on Wednesday, Dec. 20. The DLC will be available to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players in 2018.
The free DLC is accessible to players after completing the final encounter, when The Dealer himself is unlocked as a companion. As a companion, The Dealer casts ranged attacks and is able to influence the tabletop gambits.
To date, more than 100,000 copies of Hand of Fate 2 have been sold across all platforms. The original Hand of Fate has seen more than 2.5 million downloads.
“Hand of Fate 2 had an amazing launch and we look forward to continuing to support the community by giving our passionate fans new experiences to enjoy,” said Morgan Jaffit, director of Defiant Development in a press release. “Love or hate the Dealer, players will be thrilled to have more of him than ever before, transforming our most memorable character into a companion.”
During the Steam sale, Hand of Fate 2 will be available for 10 percent off the normal price of $29.99. The Steam sale runs from Thursday, Dec. 21, to Thursday, Jan. 4. The game is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
