Today, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gets its first story-based DLC, titled System Rift… at least, for everyone who’s not in Europe and doesn’t own a PS4. While the rest of the world will be able to go on a brand new adventure with main man Adam Jensen, Square Enix has confirmed that they’ve had to delay the DLC’s release for European countries, but only for the PS4.
A statement from the publisher reads:
“System Rift will not be available on the European PlayStation Store on September 23rd. Square Enix, Eidos Montréal and Sony Europe are working to have it live as soon as possible and apologize for the delay.”
If you want to be one of the first to know when this will be sorted, it’s recommended that you keep an eye on the official Deus Ex Twitter account.
System Rift sees Jensen teaming up with his old friend and colleague, Frank Pritchard. Together, they will attempt to find out new information on the mysterious Santeau Group and, with any luck, find new hints regarding the Illuminati.
This DLC is available right now for Xbox One and PC users at £9.59 and £9.49 respectively. It is also included in the game’s Season Pass, which offers access to next year’s A Criminal Past DLC.
