What do Adam Jensen, star of action-RPG-FPS hybrid Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and custard have in common? …I don’t know. Chances are you don’t know. But Square Enix seems to see a connection, as shown by this recent publicity stunt.
Created by Jim Vision, a street and graffiti artist based in London, a 65 ft mural of main protagonist Jensen has been spotted in Birmingham, outside the Custard Factory of all places. It was commissioned to promote the release of the aforementioned title, which was recently launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
You can watch a short video detailing the creation of the mural right here.
Developed by Eidos Montreal, Mankind Divided is a sequel to 2011’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Set two years after the events of that game, Jensen is now an Interpol agent sent to thwart a terrorist organisation comprised of augmented individuals. Not only that, but Jensen is also secretly working with a hacker group called the Juggernaut Collective in an attempt to confront the shadowy Illuminati.
