In an attempt to benefit players, DICE is currently looking into the possibility of allowing players to take their statistics and progression from the current-generation versions of Battlefield 4 to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The official Battlefield Twitter account has tweeted on this. Check it out here.
Although, there is no further information about how such a system would work. What BF4 player information may or may not be transferable, isn’t given as of yet either.
This past week, DICE owner Electronic Arts has announced that Madden NFL 25 and FIFA 14 Ultimate Teams will transfer over from Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to Xbox One and PS4. But this comes at a price: you would have to buy both versions of the game for the carry over to work.
Thanks Electronic Arts, that’s really helping us out. Why can’t they just use a save file or something? I guess they want even more money out of gamers. What do you think DICE should go about this?
Battlefield 4 is going to be released for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 29. Later this year, the Xbox One and the PS4 versions are scheduled to launch.
