The Brazilian classification system has seemingly leaked Bethesda’s plans to release a definitive edition of Dishonored for PS4 and Xbox One.
According to the Brazilian rating site, Dishonored: Definitive Edition is set for release in 2015.
The original Dishonored was released on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, in 2012. The game was met with critical acclaim and holds a 91 on Metacritic.
Since Bethesda announced its intention of holding an E3 press conference at this year’s event, speculation has been rife as to what they will show off. While hopes and expectations lie with Fallout 4 being revealed, many fans also expect a sequel to Dishonored to appear. However, recent reports suggest Dishonored 2 will be a no-show at E3 2015.
That being said, it seems Bethesda is still dedicated to the series and this could be a way to tide fans over and keep the game in public mind-space until the developers are ready to announce a fully-fledged sequel.
Expect more to be announced in four weeks at E3 2015. For more on Dishonored, Bethesda, ports and sequels, stay tuned to GameSkinny.
