Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride of the Valley Update Patch Notes Summary

Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride of the Valley update is bringing new content to the game on April 5, 2023, and fans got a taste of what’s in store with the latest patch notes release. This update has plenty to look forward to, and it’s going to give you both free and premium content to explore. 

While the Pride of the Valley update includes some performance improvements, what fans are really excited to hear about is how your Valley will be even more magical this April. While we’re going to focus on the new content below, you can find all of the detailed patch notes here. 

Aside from bug fixes and other improvements, here are some of the things you can expect from the game’s fourth update, including an egg-cellent event, Simba and Nala, new premium items, and more. 

Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride of the Valley New Content

• In the spirit of Spring, from April 8-29, you’ll be able to take part in the Eggstravaganza in-game event (more info to come).
  
• The Lion King Realm door will open in the Dream Castle, bringing Simba and Nala to the Valley. You’ll be able to create your own version of Pride Rock.
• The Star Path is getting a Disney Park-themed makeover so that you can bring familiar rides to your Valley with Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Mad Tea Party rides, and more. 
• The Premium Shop is receiving new items with Eric’s Boat house Dream Style, and Dreamlight-infused animal companions make their very first appearance.
• Animal companions are getting brand-new interactive items. Little houses, feeders, and toys will be available to craft at a crafting station, keeping the critters more occupied.
• Sitting down on a bench, chair, or any furniture object will now replenish your energy at a moderate pace.
• More alien sightings are occurring across the Valley, and you’ll need Buzz Lightyear’s help. Make sure you have brought Buzz Lightyear to the Valley for this one.
• The well-fed bonus from eating cooked meals is getting stronger. When you are well-fed, you’ll have a higher chance for Critical Results when performing duties throughout the Valley, such as harvesting, fishing, mining, etc. 
• The well-fed bonus will also include a new ability: Hovering! When you’re well-fed, you’ll be able to channel your Dreamlight magic to traverse around the Valley at a faster pace.
