Dragons…
Just the word itself conjures up fantasies of epic battles and tales that will be sung by bards for ages to come! Who better to tell of these adventures than someone who has studied the lore, played the games and reads a lot of fantasy novels? That would be me, Christine, a writer by nature and a dragon dreamer by night. This article is supposed to tell you why I should be one of the two people to write for Dragon’s Prophet, how I should be in the top 10 that you choose and ultimately call back for the final interview. Let me give you a run down of what to expect from me.
If you want to get a feel for a game, before you spend the hours downloading the game client, you would want to read articles on it. Good articles are descriptive, give you the basic information and just enough to entice you without giving away all the details. There has to be that little thread in the article that keeps players coming back to the game for more. I skillfully weave these hints into the article so that they are not glaringly apparent but still keeps the reader guessing.
Secondly, you want a writer who will be able to easily create thoughtful articles and provide pieces of art that would proudly represent Dragon’s Prophet. Not saying that I’m the best, there are going to be others with perfect grammar and over detailed writings but that’s not always the best way to go. Sometimes you need a writer who is simply detailed enough to give the readers what they want and allow them to continue the journey on their own.
That, my development team, is why I should be the Dragon’s Prophet Correspondent.
