Driveclub’s release has been a pretty rough experience with the all the server issues and crashes.
But for everyone who has bought the game, good news. Evolution Studios are going to be releasing two free premium DLC packs, these are The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack.
Speculation
There was some speculation that some free content would be given when Twitter user @pauldshelley directly tweeted Driveclubs Design Director Paul Rustchynsky.
Rustchynsky gave the vague response of:
“We’re considering all of our options right now.”

Combined, the DLC will be giving players five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items, this is for both online and offline.

Season Pass and PS Plus
Players who have purchased the Season Pass will not be getting less content, Evolution Studios have said:
The Season Pass will be extended to include four extra packs in July 2015 to ensure players who purchased the pass get everything that was promised. So on top of the free DLC in November, the Season Pass will still include 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries.
And commenting on the PS Plus Edition of Driveclub:
Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch of the PS Plus Edition, we are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible.
The free DLC packs, The Ignition Expansion Pack and the Photo-Finish Tour Pack are expected to come out on 25th November in North America, 26th November in Europe and the 27th November in Japan.
