The announcement that Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers was being localized was one of the most exciting bits of news for me in the waning months of 2012 — and soon enough it’s actually going to be released!
Fans of the Shin Megami Tensei series who never got the chance to play Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers on the Sega Saturn or PlayStation because of the language barrier will be able to get your hands on the game on April 16 for the Nintendo 3DS.
This new version is rumored to be more like the PlayStation version in difficulty, considering how some tasks were virtually impossible in the Saturn release. Players will also meet Raidou Kuzunoha from the later games in the Devil Summoner series — a welcome bonus to this old gem.
The release date stated above (April 16) is for the North America. There has yet to be a date set for the European release of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.
