On EA’s Support Twitter account (@AskEASupport) many players have been reporting issues for Fifa 16, Madden 17, and on a personal test today, here at GameSkinny we haven’t been able to connect using DICE’s Star Wars: Battlefront.

Later yesterday EA stated on Twitter that they’ve had an outage, and this explains how the games, services, and support options were affected. In addition, EA was so busy with customer support that they couldn’t keep up, and simply redirected web traffic to a support page. They state now that everything is functional again, but users are still reporting issues.

The open beta for EA’s Battlefield 1, developed by DICE, is free for download now on PC (through EA Origin,) Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The full game will be hitting stores on October 21st, 2016.
