When Injustice: Gods Among Us was first announced, DC fans everywhere wondered which of their favorite characters would be included with the game. Everyone knew that there would be Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. After all, what is a game featuring an all-star DC cast without the big three? But, many fans wondered who else would be included.

Today at EVO 2013, it was announced by NetherRealm that the long-anticipated Martian Manhunter would be added to the game via DLC. Earlier this year, NetherRealm polled fans for which characters they would like to see added, and J’onn J’onnz was strangely absent. Because he is a long-standing member of the Justice League, it’s alleged that the developers knew he would dominate the voting, explaining his absence.

Many DC and Injustice fans alike responded positively to the announcement of the DLC, which will also include the skin for another fan favorite character, the John Stewart era Green Lantern. There are no current details regarding the pricing for the DLC, nor a release date. You can watch Martian Manhunter take on John Stewart in the video revealed at EVO 2013 above.
