CCP Games is reporting on their Facebook page that they have taken Tranquility down after a “significant and sustained distributed denial-of-service attack”. This comes just a couple of weeks after the official launch of Dust 514. The affected servers house both Eve Online and DUST 514 as well as the Eve and CCP Games web sites.

It appears that they had brought the servers back up once, but that something led to CCP deciding that taking the servers back down again was prudent. We will keep updating this post as we know more.
