Fallout 4 was easily the biggest reveal of E3 2015, helping Bethesda to blow away the competition on the first day of the conference. They even unveiled the Fallout mobile spin-off game, Fallout Shelter. Then to make sure they landed on top Bethesda blasted out the news of an official, functioning Pip-Boy figure bundled in Fallout 4 Limited Edition copies.
The millisecond collectors and hardcore fans of the Fallout series knew they could pre-order the Pip-Boy Edition they laid siege to stores. Leaving hordes of store employees scared for life and shelves barren. Leaving gamers who didn’t join the first battle for the Pip-Boy Edition worried they had missed their chance.
Their hopes grew dimmer after Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Bethesda Pete Hines (a man with the longest title in the game industry) detailed the supply of the Pip-Boy Edition; saying that like Fallout 4 itself Pip-Boy production is basically done. Even worse Hines confirmed that no more will be produced. In the end though he gave gamers a small amount of hope that not all of the Pip-Boy Editions are gone.
@hyliannelf each store is being given their final allotment. how and when they make the available is up to them. but no more are being made

Leaving room for hope that a few retailers out there knowing Pip-Boy Editions would be in high demand held a few copies back. Gamers will have to keep their eyes peeled if they want to get a hold of that Pip-Boy figure. Although they shouldn’t be surprised if no more come on the market because of how special the figure is. The Pip-Boy isn’t simply a collectible figure, it can interface with Fallout 4 similar to Nintendo’s amiibo’s.
Good luck to any of you out there still hoping to get a hold of a Pip-Boy Edition!
