If you were shown a list of publishers and told to pick out which you thought would be handling the publishing of F.E.A.R. Online, what would you choose? No matter what your answer is, I am 99.9% sure it would not have been Aeria Games (without looking at the title of this article).
The original F.E.A.R.’s roots may be in the West, but Korean studio Inplay Interactive is handling the development of this competitive online shooter.
Aeria Games may be best known for some of its more tame entries to the MMORPG market, such as Grand Fantasia and Eden Eternal, but the publisher is also handling sexy PvP-fest Scarlet Blade. Their publishing portfolio these days is surprisingly diverse.
F.E.A.R. Online‘s closed beta may be drawing near, considering the game’s official website is up and running. There may not be a speck of information on the upcoming title just yet, but registrations are open for those interested.
All of this comes from deal struck between Warner Bros. and Inplay Interactive earlier this year.
