Square Enix have released a new trailer for their upcoming HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII, titled The Zodiac Age.
The Tokyo Game Show 2016 trailer is paired with a host of new screenshots which show off the game’s combat and scenery, inviting players back into the intriguing world of Ivalice.
Apart from the upgraded graphics, this HD remaster of the 2006 game will include trophy support, a newly recorded soundtrack, and a reconstructed battle system.
The game’s graphics have received an overhaul.
As a port of the Japanese International Zodiac Job System version which was never released in the West, The Zodiac Age also boasts a number of new features.
This includes an interesting job system and useful mechanics such as High Speed Mode, which allows players to travel across the game’s huge world much more rapidly.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is scheduled for worldwide release on PlayStation 4 in 2017.
