I do not know of anyone personally that either doesn’t have a favorite Final Fantasy game or has never heard of Final Fantasy. So the news out of Square Enix today does not shock me at all. (Personally, I love IX cause Vivi the Black Mage is my utmost favorite character) So what news is fresh out of Square Enix today?
High Beta Registration Numbers
At a conference held today, Yoshi-P announced that the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has a very high number of registrations already. At nearing a million, they have hit 920,000 beta registrations (plus one because I registered after reading the announcement on the blog). I was totally wowed at the high number of people eager to try out Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
Apparently Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn is going to be one of the hottest MMOs since sliced bread once it releases August 27, 2013 for PS3 and PC. I wonder if I could convince my close friend S to vacate WoW to play with me.
