Pocket Edition is a complete remake which utilizes chibi models for the characters and a completely scaled-down version of the world of Eos. It will be released on Android and iOS and will be played completely via touch screen.

The game will contain the entire main story from Final Fantasy XV, and the first chapter will be free. Chapters two and three will be priced at $0.99, and chapters four through ten will be $3.99, but there is an option to purchase the entire game for $19.99.

There have also been discussions of Pocket Edition potentially coming to the Nintendo Switch since the original version of the game ran poorly and did not make the most of the engine. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for any developing news as it breaks.
