Nintendo has released Fell Xenologue, the fourth and final DLC expansion for Fire Emblem Engage, the latest installment in its popular fantasy strategy RPG series. Unlike the last few updates that brought new characters into the mix, this fourth expansion introduces a new storyline called the “Fell Xenologue.” Plot details are mum, but you’ll be able to discover them for yourself in-game.

It’s been only a few months since Fire Emblem Engage was released, but it seems as if Nintendo is finished with the game for now. This new campaign is something of an epilogue to the main story and introduces a couple of new characters, maps, and class types for players to tinker with. It sounds like the most substantial of the updates and is likely the reason the expansion pass cost $30.
Alongside this DLC comes update version 2.0.0. This is free for all owners of Engage and will bring collaboration content from Fire Emblem Heroes as DLC. You can receive these items after entering Somniel and downloading the required content packs from the eShop.
If you have previously redeemed these items, you won’t be able to re-download them. Fire Emblem Engage is currently available on Nintendo Switch. Previous DLC waves included new emblems.
That’s what we know about the Wave 4 Fire Emblem Engage DLC and the version 2.0 update. Stay tuned for more.
