Last month, we found out that fan team Poem Studios was working on an Unreal Engine 4 remake of Knights of the Old Republic. Now, the first gameplay has been revealed; treating us to a glimpse of some of the areas present in the game. The Endar Spire, Tatooine, and Taris have never looked better; and you can really see the effort that Poem Studios is putting into the project.

One thing you might notice is that the game is set in a first-person mode. According to Youtuber MrMattyPlays, the creators are making the mod a first-person experience, although a third-person option is still available.

Should you want to keep yourself updated with the project, you can follow the creators on Twitter @apeiron_kotor. They say that they will post weekly screenshots showing what it is they are working on as well as announce when they will be live streaming their work.

Are you as excited for this mod as I am? Let me know what you think!

Hi! My name is Nick, and I am yet another kid trying to break into the world of gaming journalism. I am currently attending grad school and pursuing my Master's in Journalism. Want to know my favorite game? It's Mass Effect, but not the third one; we don't talk about that one. I am also an avid fan of any and all board games, and you should totally try Risk Legacy; it's like regular Risk but better.
