Five Nights at Freddy’s World was announced in September on the their Steam page as a huge update to the series. It will be released on Feb. 19 via Steam initially, then move to Android and iPhone shortly thereafter. There are also plans to have a demo of the game on Gamejolt.
It’s said to be an RPG-style game, but the video below doesn’t really show much of that aspect. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Based on what’s shown in the short gameplay video, things seem to start off innocent, then quickly take a detour to “Chucky Cheese Horror Night”. Is this supposed to be a game for kids or adults?
For those of us that have played the original Five Nights at Freddy’s games we know that Scott Cawthon, the creator, did a great job of scaring the &^#% out of us. Using a clever storyline and gameplay mechanics that had you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
Is this game continuing the original series, or are we diving into the individual stories of the main characters? Only time will give us the answers to these questions.
Will you picking this game up when it comes out? Let us know!
