LEGO Fortnite’s patch v29.00 introduced new LEGO kits, building sets, and styles, but two recently added game modes have been temporarily removed. If you’ve been having fun testing your balance in LEGO Obby Fun and sailing the waters in LEGO Raft Survival, you might be wondering why you can’t find them. Here’s what we know.
What Happened to LEGO Obby Fun and LEGO Raft Survival in LEGO Fortnite?
You might’ve noticed the LEGO Obby Fun and LEGO Raft Survival mini-games have disappeared from the Discover screen since the Chapter 5 Season 2 update. This change comes after an announcement from @FortniteStatus, notifying players that both islands have been temporarily disabled. The reasoning, however, is rather vague. The account cites that they’ve been removed due to issues with patch v29.00 and players can expect a fix in the coming days.
This has left players confused, as there’s no clear reason why the game modes have been disabled. However, that doesn’t mean v29.00 hasn’t been without its issues, considering the team is also working on a fix for an issue with XP rewards in LEGO Fortnite.
For the uninitiated, LEGO Obby Fun and LEGO Raft Survival launched recently on February 27. LEGO Obby Fun is a platforming mini-game in which you challenge nine other players to see who can navigate the obstacle courses with the best balance. With hazardous hills and perilous paths, your balance will certainly be put to the test. Raft Survival, on the other hand, challenges you to keep your raft afloat amid Captain Redbeard’s cannon fire. You and your friends will reinforce your raft using resources, such as wood and treasures. Otherwise, you might meet your demise in Davy Jones’ Locker.
It’s currently unknown when these LEGO Fortnite islands will make their return. In the meantime, you can still jump into survival mode! Check out our LF guides on the best villagers to recruit, how to get Blast Powder, and all Grasslands upgrades.
