With a game as big as Fortnite, it’s a sure bet things won’t always go as planned. Each week for the past forever, Epic has pushed out Fortnite updates on a pretty consistent schedule. However, if you’ve logged in this morning, you’ll notice that patch 4.3 is nowhere to be found and something’s wonky with Week 5’s challenges: They aren’t showing up.
More accurately, the countdown clock is stuck at zero.
The reason is that the challenges have been delayed until May 31 at 4 a.m. EDT. Epic released a statement on the official Fortnite Twitter confirming the new launch date, but they did not say why the update had been delayed.
KNOWN ISSUE: Week 5 challenges available in 0 seconds.
Week 5 challenges will be available on 05/31 at 4am ET/8am GMT.
This was an intended change to push back Weekly Challenges to Thursdays.
