Game Award Show “The Game Awards” Set for November 11

The Game Awards, a new award show backed by major companies and names in the gaming industry, is set to air on Friday December 5th at 9PM ET.

The Game Awards is a new video game award show, announced in time for the gaming awards season. The show is set to happen in less than one month, on Friday December 5th in Las Vegas, live from the AXIS Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Supported by major production companies, the Game Awards will feature performances and other surprises in addition to the awards that will be given out during the show.

The minds behind the Game Awards are some of the most creative in the industry from the most well-known companies in the world. Peter Moore, COO of Electronic Arts; Reggie Fils-Aime, President and COO of Nintendo of America, Rockstar Games, Valve, and Shawn Layden, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America as well as many others are responsible for creating this new awards show.

Tickets to see the show went on sale yesterday, November 11, on Ticketmaster, and start at $45. Though the show is in Las Vegas, it will be streamed live throughout the globe on the PlayStation Network, Steam, Xbox Live, as well as other platforms.
