Sony has increased the number of theaters due to the excellent turnout they received last year. There will be over 60 theaters in the United States showcasing the event, along with 3 theaters in Canada. As far as ticket sales go, each theater will reserve 80% of their venue for ticket holders, and about 20% for individuals on the wait list. Those on the wait list are going to be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.

During the event, Sony’s entire E3 segment will be showcased along with an exclusive 30-minute after show hosted by Geoff Keighley. This post show will unveil extended footage and gameplay from Sony’s announced titles as well as interviews with developers. The audience will also walk away with a delightful PlayStation surprise as a token to commemorate the night.Take a moment and imagine watching all of this glory stretched out on the big screen. If that isn’t enough, check out this trailer for the event:

Prepare yourself for an incredible E3 experience in the comfort of a theater near you. If you’re 17 or older, hurry and snag yourself some tickets or a spot on the waitlist before they run out!
