Grave Danger is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle adventure game where you manage a party and use each character’s unique skills to solve puzzles and survive. It is being developed by JB Gaming, and is inspired by classic Super Nintendo games, such as Mega Man and Castlevania.
The game’s Kickstarter project launched on July 18 with a goal of $35k, and will end on August 17.
The release date for PC, Mac, and Linux is planned for October 31, 2016. The console release date for Wii U, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 is planned for January 16, 2017. There will be single player, as well as co-op capability, allowing friends to locally control other characters in the party and assist in solving puzzles.
It is necessary to alternate between each character in the party, use teamwork, and master each character’s individual skills to progress.
Dante is capable of climbing vertical walls. Malice can float horizontally across chasms and through narrow and dangerous areas. Elliot has magical elevation and can jump again once mid-air.
Pledge tiers over $12 will reward a digital copy of the game for the platform of the backer’s choice. $12 is the early bird rate, which has limited spots. $15 is the regular rate for a digital copy, so get your early bird copies before they run out if you’re interested in doing so!
