In late January, Rockstar said on Twitter that it was working on such fixes after a GTA Online exploit was discovered on PC. 

Previously, a small update was released on February 1, 2023, for PC that also addressed security issues with GTA Online. The patch notes indicate those fixes were focused on “security of network sessions and player-to-player messaging” and “an issue that could result in a player’s GTA Online experience being modified by a third party …” That was also accompanied by stability and performance tweaks.
