The upcoming DLC pack for Guacamelee, Pollo Power, has been delayed after developer DrinkBox Studios discovered a game progression-blocking error. The patch was originally supposed to launch today alongside the new costume DLC pack.
As a result, both patches have been pulled down from the PlayStation Store since they’re dependent on each other to work. Those who had already downloaded the DLC pack are being asked to delete Guacamelee and re-install it for the ion-blocking error.”
“If you had a game saved after obtaining the ‘Pollo Power,’ downloading and installing the patch will cause you to be unable to swap back into a luchador from chicken mode, essentially blocking progression,” DrinkBox Studios‘ said.
However, if you’re not far enough into the game where you can access the content, or you started a new game save file, you will not be affected by the issue.
