It’s a new year and that’s cause for celebration enough, but Arenanet has decided to make that celebrating a little bit easier for everyone.
Guild Wars 2’s Black Lion Trading Company’s gem store, the game’s cash shop where the cash-purchased currency known as gems is accepted for purchases, is having a sale. Starting on January 4, 2013, the shop will be putting an item on sale at a hugely reduced price. Each day they will be changing the item on sale, so it will pay (literally) to keep checking back every day.
The items sold in the cash shop vary from cosmetic items and upgrades like dye packs to color your clothing however you like or directly change the appearance of items to experience boosts to speed up character leveling to utility capabilities such as remote bank access for your character.
Perhaps most prominently, Guild Wars 2’s gem store is also where a person can purchase extra character slots, and for an altaholic like myself, that’s an almost painfully attractive draw. Keep watching the Black Lion to see what goes on sale.yBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbswyBESbsw
