Frank O’Connor, director of the Halo franchise, recently clarified comments about Halo 5: Guardians coming to the PC. According to O’Connor, there are no plans for a PC release at this time.
O’Connor stated in an interview that, “bringing Halo 5 to PC wouldn’t be the toughest thing to do, there is plenty of chance that Halo 5 could appear on the PC.”
This quote caused a lot of fans to wonder if Halo 5: Guardians will be coming to the PC.
O’Connor later clarified the issue with a tweet.
@FHal0_ I didn’t “mention” it, I was asked a question and gave the same noncommittal answer I’ve been giving to that question for ten years.

Microsoft marketing executive Aaron Greenberg, also made a remark about how any claims that there will be a PC version release on October 27 are also false.
However, this does not mean that there is no chance of a PC release in the future. There are many Xbox One exclusive games that have made their way to PC, such as Dead Rising 3. So, we may see a PC version of Halo 5: Guardians. Yet, at this time it has been made clear that Halo 5: Guardians will remain as an Xbox One Exclusive.
Halo 5: Guardians is set for release on October 27.
