Halo 5 Limited Collector’s Edition Leaked

Ever since its announcement, everyone knew for sure that there would be special bundles for Halo 5: Guardians. And now, thanks to GameStop Italy’s website, the Limited Collector’s Edition for the game has been partly revealed. 

Although we do not know everything that will be in the big box, we do know that it will feature a Limited Edition version of Halo 5 as well as a “commemorative statuette created by 343 Industries.” Judging by the size of the box, however, we can only guess that more goodies are in there. Possibly an art book, or a soundtrack?

Unfortunately, the statuette and the special version of the game are our only leads, for now. However, this does come at a cost… the whole pack is up for $249.98!

The Limited Edition game is complete with a unique Steelbook as well as “new digital content to increase the combat capability of the Spartan”, says Microsoft. We can only guess that that would mean exclusive weapons and armor. The Limited Edition version of the game alone costs $99.99.

343 Industries and Microsoft have not yet decided to reveal the content of this Limited Collector’s Edition for Halo 5, but with E3 2015 coming up, we can only guess that it will all be revealed sooner or later. 

Italian version different than US version?

On the US GameStop store, however, we have no details of the Limited Collector’s Edition for Halo 5. All we know is that US shoppers get a Limited Edition poster when they pre-order the game, and GameStop shoppers will receive Agent Locke’s armor at no addition charge, which they say is a “pre-order exclusive”, but only for those who play the multiplayer.

It is also rumored that the Agent Locke statuette is exclusive to GameStop Italy, and it can be pre-ordered separately for 24.98€, as well as the other statuettes available. 

Halo 5: Guardians is an Xbox One exclusive, set to be released on October 27th.
