Hatsune Miku fans have been waiting a long time for one of the Project Diva games to see a release in the west, and as of now that wait is over in North America! The Project Diva games bring a style of gameplay we rarely see in today’s market: fast and punishing rhythm. The last pure Japanese rhythm game I can remember seeing a release in the west was Elite Beat Agents in 2006. With Japanese games getting the most attention these days than they’ve gotten in years, it is the best time for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F to make its way to North America and Europe.

Miku in EU? Not yet

Unfortunately European Miku and Sega fans will have to wait until Friday to get their hands on Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F. Sega has announced the game has had a slight delay in its European release, which is now scheduled for Friday August 30th.

To further salt the delay-caused wound, the game will also not see a physical release in Europe. Fans will have to purchase Project Diva F on the PlayStation Store and download it directly onto their PlayStation 3, as opposed to the physical copy option seen in Japan and North America. The European release will be priced at €44.99/£34.99.
