It’s that time again! Blizzard Entertainment’s Heroes of the Storm team has released a teaser for the next two heroes looking to join the game’s roster. The catch? We only get 5 seconds of voice clips for each character.
Found on the official Heroes of the Storm Twitter page, the following clip was released earlier today:

In it we hear two voices: one female, and one male. Already, fans are madly tweeting which characters they believe the two voices are. So far, the fans have come up with the following theories…
For the male character we have (original game voice samples included):
- Kel’thuzad (Warcraft)
- Medivh (Warcraft)
- Necromancer (Diablo II)
- Rokhan (Warcraft)
As for female candidates, fans have come up with:
- Alexstraza (Warcraft)
- Female Wizard (Diablo III)
- Alleria Windrunner (Hearthstone)
- Tracer (Overwatch)
We won’t be able to get a sure answer of who is behind the voices until the Heroes of the Storm team releases it, but so far the guesses fans have made don’t seem completely outlandish. It’s also a bit tough to guess since the lines don’t seem particularly character-driven.
Which characters do you think are hidden behind the voices? When do you think we will have our answers? Do you think Blizzard should be spending more time fixing the game than releasing more characters? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
